Natalia Valentin (Puerto Rico captain): "We don't have many occasions to play against teams on this level like during this tournament, so it was a chance for us to see where we are and what we have to improve. Obviously, we are not satisfied as we lost all our games. We understand that all three teams we played against present top-quality in volleyball and to be able to get there, we have to keep up working and improve all aspects of our game. We still want to qualify for the Olympic Games, we played in Rio, it was really hard, but we achieved it, so hopefully we will do it again." Jose Mieles (Puerto Rico head coach: "We played really well in the first set, but then we started to struggle. The setter of Thailand along with their spiker performed great and our block couldn't stop them. My team had good moments during this tournament, but we didn't qualify for the Olympic Games. Now we are going to Peru for the Pan American Games and we will continue our work to qualify for the Olympics from the continental qualifier." Nootsara Tomkom (Thailand captain): "It was our last game, so we wanted to finish the tournament in a positive way. We haven't had opportunity to play against Puerto Rico for a long time, so we didn't know them and we didn't know if we can beat them. Therefore, we tried to play hard. We felt tired after yesterday's game, but eventually we won and we are very happy about this victory.” Danai Sirwacharamaytakul (Thailand head coach: "We didn't open this game well, because of the tiredness after the long game yesterday. We were untied for this match, so we were able to come back. We made a huge team effort to win this match." ––– * For more information, as well as all the latest Volleyball news and competitions, log onto the official website at * If you want to watch the full matches and highlights, check the link below. - * FOLLOW VOLLEYBALL WORLD ON SOCIAL MEDIA - Instagram: - Facebook: - Twitter: ––– Music Credit: * Outro Say Good Night by Joakim Karud Creative Commons — Attribution-ShareAlike 3.0 Unported— CC BY-SA 3.0 Music promoted by Audio Library ––– #volleyball #OlympicQualification #TVQ
